Established in 1974, Bronte College is a private International Baccalaureate (IB) World and Advanced Placement (AP) school focused on university prep. Bronte College offers Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 and a boarding program for Grades 9 to 12. As an IB World School, Bronte College is Peel Region’s first private school authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme and is a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme.
The College is committed to providing a learning environment that emphasizes academic excellence and individual growth. Bronte College offers courses specifically formulated to meet the needs of Canadian and International students and to satisfy the requirements of the IB and Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum guidelines.
Bronte College also provides students with the opportunity to progress their post-secondary education through the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, which academically challenges students at a higher caliber. Not only do these classes progress students further, but upon successful completion allows them to qualify for credit transfer towards their university education. Graduates are thus better prepared for future studies by experiencing the “learning to understand” vision employed at Bronte.
Paired with intimate class sizes and ongoing support, the school becomes a foundation in itself for higher learning amongst students. Staff are highly trained, focused, and experienced in delivering outstanding academic programs for students on an international tier. School trips, sports and clubs also provide our students with a well-rounded experience during their studies. 98% of graduates have gained acceptance to top Canadian and world universities (including entry to medical and law schools in the U.K.).
